The Lakers knew what they were doing the whole time. Signing Dwight Howard was a genius move. Building a physical, bruising big team in an age of perimeter play was genius. (I genuinely thought it was smart.)

The Lakers are just bettter at everything. They have the best ownership and the best front offiice and they deserve credit for every bit of success they have and no one else should ever win because they are inherently built better in their DNA.

This is honestly what the history of the league teaches us. It’s genuinely just how the NBA is.
