5 years ago I left with my life and I have never looked back. I wanted to let you know. You are not alone. You are worthy of real love and you don't have to put up with this shit. Enough is enough.

I don't talk about this often but if you need someone to talk to.. to encourage you. To sit with you while you take your abuser to court I promise I have your back. I put mine in jail. I saved my life. And it was the toughest time of my life and I did it alone.

If me talking about it can help you. Lets talk. I stayed with someone who beat me. Lied to me. Cheated on me. And sabotaged me. For 2 years I lived in utter fear. He didn't work. He took every dollar I earned. One day he hit me while I was holding our son. And I locked him up.

I didn't think twice to protect my son tho I had a very hard time understanding what was going on and why it was so damn bad for so long. I should've left sooner. But I am so thankful for the one officer who refused to let me drop the charges.
