The kids are NOT alright. THE BLOOD ON SATANāS CLAW is an 18th-century-set folk horror that more than earned its reputation as one of the best, most genuinely horrific, and profane of its ilk. Fantastic score, a chilling atmosphere & gorgeous production. High marks.
The last day of #FantasticFest & the 1st feature is the horror shorts program Short Fuse, which was one of my fave things last year. Still is!

Iāve been rationing the second season of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS so itāll last as long as possible. Tonight I watched āCollaboration,ā which was such a great wrap-up to Guillermoās destiny dilemma. A really sweet episode, and Iāve definitely been to a few open mics like that.
#FantasticFest goes out in style during a full harvest moon with BLOODTHIRSTY, completing a werewolf festival sandwich that TEDDY started. The second Amelia Moses/Lauren Beatty joint of 2020! Thoughts in the second photo since it went long.

I finally watched CURSED, and itās only taken me well over a decade! I love how dated this is (Scott Baio on The Craig Kilborn Show!) and I thought it was a goofy good time, warts and all. Of course, now I gotta see the unrated version...
YouTube recommended THE WICKEDEST WITCH (hey @DinosaurDracula!) Iām glad it did; itās charming, McClanahan has a ball, and Alf voice.
