People are questioning the photos. She’s been sharing/documenting her journey with infertility since Luna was born. Jack was a “miracle” pregnancy. It stands to reason that she was documenting this journey too.
I’m not a strict fan, just started following her last week, but she opened up about IVF and the difficulties. She shared about being terrified in the joy of this recent pregnancy. She helped a lot of people.
She very well could have been doing the same here.
This is a woman who thought she couldn’t get pregnant the traditional way and DID. That’s hope for a lot of people and she has the kind of life that would make capturing the journey look different.
The woman just lost a baby. Cut her some slack.
We really need to disabuse ourselves of the notion that just because someone is well known or wealthy that they aren’t real people. Or they somehow have been stripped of all humanity because you know their name.
Stop it.
We talk about vulnerability and then try to dictate and dissect the sincerity when it’s displayed.
We talk about breaking stigma and then question the motives. Those photos are comfort for people you may never meet. They weren’t for you.
We live in a world where women are ashamed of having c-sections. These stories are necessary. Those photos are important to demystify these things.

My goodness.
