I’ve had a Halloween PB idea brewing since March. I wasn’t in a rush to write it, but now I’m getting all of the feelings.

There’s a PB that I love and I can’t remember the name of it. But it was about a grieving boy and his ghost dog, I think. The ghost dog protected the boy when skeletons tried to attack him in the cemetery on Halloween. I need to reread this one.

And this story is for the younger me. For the kid that decorated for Halloween faithfully despite living in the deep woods, far away from civilization, where no one came to trick-or-treat...w/ a home that wasn’t visible from a highway. That never stopped me, though. Lol
