I have ADHD and I was diagnosed very young. I’ve been off my meds for about 9 years now, and I’ve noticed myself getting distracted at work.
So I talked to my Psychiatrist and I started back on my vyvanse (long release adderall) and I already feel better this morning at my desk.
A lot of my ADHD symptoms I grew out of, but my brain tends to wander at work and I’m not always as productive as I want to be.
I’m sorry this thread is boring and personal, but I’m tying to change myself for the better, and grow more into the person I should have been years ago. This is a step in that direction.
There’s a lot of stigma around ADHD. It’s not just hyperactivity phases, forgetfulness and brain fog.
I’ve lived with this my entire life, and it’s manageable with a little help.
