For just one day I’d like to log onto this app and not see men marching around with their shite opinions on how women should or shouldn’t act
Sorry but no-one actually wants to see your opinion on whether Chrissy Teigen should have tweeted about her very traumatic loss of a child. Instead of policing how women should think or feel, why don’t you just try shutting up or indeed fucking off?
There is going to be someone in your family or your friendship group that has experienced the pain that Chrissy Teigen is talking about. The lack of empathy from some people is just baffling sometimes.
Sorry to add to this thread of doom but I’m seeing lots of people state in quite a smug way “um I wouldn’t deal with it like that” and it’s like...ok? Well done? There will be mums who see her post and relate to it very deeply & take strength and support from her being so open
Grief isn’t linear, we don’t all get a handbook on how to deal with it especially not this very specific grief that she will be feeling. If it makes you uncomfortable then scroll tf past and keep your sniping comments to yourselves. Sorry, just my opinion
With appropriate trigger and content warnings for those who don’t want to read it, miscarriage and the loss of a child should be spoken about more freely. It isn’t a secret so really I’d appreciate if we could just stop shaming people for being open about it
