January 2020 as I was suffering from a deep depression, I knew that I was going through transformation, I was leaving Cape Town to start a new life in Eastern Cape that I wasn't even sure how it will work out

Enxiety was killing me, I knew that I was fighting a losing battle

With depression and I have been in and out of therapy and I was losing hope in ever finding myself.

I saw a tweet from @Bongien that said something about depression but the approach to it was different and it was related to spiritual disconnection, something that I resonated

With and I slide into her DM, and she told me how she works

I remember I was flat broke but I knew that she was what I needed, and answer to endless prayers

Upon my 1st session with her, I knew that the end of my mystery was coming to an end

I began a healing journey

I am writing this tweet as a recovered soul from depression, as a black community we don't talk depression

We don't heal out traumas, we just want to numb the pain with antidepressants

Let me tell until you find the root cause of your depression, you will forever be a regular

In therapy, we need to understand that as African child our problems stem from our discussion with our being

We need to align ourselves with our being and start a healing journey that leads to self discovery

To everyone going through depression at this moment I wish that

You find healing, I pray that you get the fulfillment that you are seeking

Sex, alcohol and all that expensive materials you keep buying will never fill the void
