Nigeria is what it is today because of the people. The politicians, the civil servants, the military, the private sector.

The paramilitary and the informal sector. The people of Nigeria failed to create a country that can be envied by others. If Nigeria is evacuated today, the Jews or Chinese will come in and turn it around. Nigeria is a reflection of the people, nothing else!

The politicians who steal, civil servants who steal and take bribe, contractors who abscond with money, private sector that delivers poor service, the informal sector plagued with cheats. The citizens who break laws.
If Nigeria is useless at 60, then we are all useless.

Nigeria did not ask for this sort of people who put personal interest above national development. Go home and ask your parents to swear by the holy books if they never collected bribe or took something that didn't belong to them. How many of us can explain their wealth?

Do you break laws? Do you cheat your neighbours? Do you sell fake products? Are you a smuggler? Do you collect bribes in the office? Do you falsify documents? Do you steal? Do you receive money to vote? Do you falsify payrolls? Nigeria will great when the people change.

Do you evade taxes? Do you participate in governance.
We have 3 levels - FG, state and Local government. We have less than 200,000 politicians. 1% of the population cannot define Nigeria. It starts at the community level. The community defines the country.

Nigeria is a reflection of our communities. What we do on a daily basis defines the outlook of the country. The policemen didn't drop from Jupiter, the politicians and civil servants are part of our community.

#NigeriaAt60 is a reality check for all of us.

There is no Nigeria without the people. It would be an empty space without corruption, insecurity, stealing and other vices. We will enjoy a great nation if we build it. If we don't, we will continue to live the harsh reality.
