What Dani said on Talks about Caduceus telling Yasha that she is allowed to have things that she wants and not to wait around in everyoneâs shadow forever is really sticking with me. Especially when you think about her relationship with Beau and the way Beau treats her.
Beau has always been the person that checks in with Yasha about how she is feeling and what she wants. Beau always makes sure that Yasha is involved in conversations and has her feelings and ideas considered by the rest of the group. Always. And thatâs only gotten more prominent.
Yasha is coming out of her shell more lately, sheâs being more vulnerable with the Nein and sheâs being bolder in what she says and does, but she still is often quiet and doing things for the rest of the group. Part is that is just because Yasha shows love by taking care of-
them all in the ways that she can, but also part of that is, as Ashley said, Yasha not knowing what she wants or how to actively make decisions for herself. Beau has, throughout the entire campaign, been there for Yasha, checking in with her and helping bring that out of her. In-
many ways, I think the fact that Beau actively focuses on Yasha and what Yashaâs needs are has helped Yasha to start to think about that more than she ever wouldâve without that. Beau makes sure that Yasha isnât spoken over and that she has a place to be able to speak about-
what exactly it is that she does want. And that is so fucking telling. Itâs because Beau genuinely cares. Beau cares about Yasha so deeply, and she also knows that Yasha could go a long time without interjecting because Yasha will go along with whatever the group needs.
But whatâs so beautiful to me is that Beau sees that in Yasha, and because of that, she does what she can as someone who is comfortable in the role of speaking up and making her desires and requests known to make sure that Yasha is given that opportunity as well.
Beau and Yasha have always seen each other and acted on what they see in ways that the rest of the group doesnât. They have a very profound and intimate relationship that is often played out through unspoken and selfless acts of love for the other. This is just one of many ways.
