Crimes are motivated by religion and caste based identities and need to be called out like that, only then.
But through the whole 'lynching' saga everyone saw how cause was forgotten and only identity of victims and perps stood out.

Sadly, this s what the whole outrage cycle around gender based crimes has been reduced to.
Finding ur preferred kind of identities in the victim or the perpetrator column n then outraging accordingly.
Motive can be manipulated enough to fit narratives.
