He added that over time people reach message saturation. People have become exposed to #COVID19 messaging that it becomes noise or fades into the background. Our hygiene behaviors, which increased in the early period of the pandemic may now be in the decline. How to sustain?
Specificity is key, @rdreibelbis_UK emphasized. We must target behavior rather than a broad concept, can be increasing #handwashing frequency, duration, use of soap. It must be specific, measurable, actionable. Innovation can be in simple ways of providing access.
