Okay hear me out on this one, because I read this EVERYWHERE nowadays -
When you break friendships/relations based on difference of opinions, you're basically giving up on people. In the world that we live in, does giving up on people who are obviously uneducated about

certain things, or have seen or read lesser than you, an option? Is that how we'll grow as a society? By alienating people and pushing them away to more extremes? No!

You can sign a million petitions, share a trillion posts on an issue, cancel a gazillion people, but will

that make more difference than taking time out to discuss and explain and educate people that you already know and call friends? No!

Ever wonder why we don't do it? Because we as a generation are EXTREMELY comfortable being vocal behind our phone screens, and equally

uncomfortable with real confrontations. Because that requires real strength, and real values and real understanding and real care about the issues that plague our world.

Educating one "friend" is enough for a person, it's better than a million RTs on a thread you tweet.

Concluding, I'll just say that when you do what you're preaching here, you
A - are doing more harm than good to the society
B - giving up on a chance to better one person
C - completely disregarding the possibility of you being wrong.

Remember, we never know enough.
