Key directives of the Supreme Court on #PoliceReforms are:

1. Minimum tenure of 2 years for the DGP and all police officers on operational duties

2. Investigation functions of the police to be separated from law & order maintenance 2/n

3. All transfers, postings and promotions to be decided by a "Police Establishment Board" and not by the netas.

4. A Police Complaints Authority to investigate all complaints against DSPs & above.

5. Central Police org chiefs to be appointed by"National Security Commission" 3/n

0 states implemented these proposals and most didn't implement even 1 proposal. The BJP rules most states and runs the centre. Forget @INCIndia which ruled from 2006 to 2014 who did nothing. Why didn't @narendramodi & @AmitShah who ruled for 6 years do nothing? 4/4
