I think it says a lot about common understandings of autism that we generally know that autistic people are prone to in depth and detailed analysis but haven& #39;t really thought about what happens when that analysis is turned inwards toward the self
I don& #39;t think we have examined the autistic sense of self very much. It seems to be a non-essential question to most researchers? Or at least it& #39;s understood in ways that take the differences as trivial when compared to a NT sense of self
I think this affects our sense of gender, sexuality, relationships, social structure etc. and how we relate to it as individuals
I& #39;ve probably had existential crises every year of my life since I was 12
