if you know people who are going to protests, please make sure that they're taking relevant safety precautions before and while they're there. be their emergency contact if they trust you.

tap into your strengths. create art, create posters, write*, collate resources, write code that sends automated emails to authorities, help detainees with legalities, etc.

have conversations within your social circles. silence can be complicity. shorter reads to arm yourself with arguments so you're not tongue-tied when your UC family relative inevitably says "why make this about caste?"

take breaks if you have to. yes, withdrawal is a privilege, but you're better off to take a step back every once in a while instead of being permanently burnt out.
