3) for Alex favourite trope would be mutual pining between best friends to lovers with a double dose of miscommunication (bonus if in an AU setting)

4) outlining - the daydreaming about scenarios and just jotting down every single idea I have and restructuring them/ordering them to fit what I’m working on

5) when everything just clicks, and kinda the same as 4.. the coming up with ideas

6) first person point of view; I just cannot get into it when it comes to fanfics. But that’s okay, not everything is for everyone.

7) stare at my screen for too long, writing on different mediums (pen & paper, google docs, word, text it to myself) changing fonts and font colours too often. Background paper colour on black, listening to the same song on repeat. Getting lost in researching the little details
