I don’t think Bernie should call Joe his good friend just as I don’t think Gabbard should say that about Crenshaw. But only one of them is campaigning for Biden, joining the Dem establishment, pushing Russiagate, & ignoring #Assange. Unlike many, I’m consistent in my criticisms

See I love Bernie & always will thank him for lighting this fire within me & others. Doesn’t mean I don’t notice his lack of support regarding election integrity, or his push to count ballots early-which let me tell you is insane. Counting ballots early ensures fraud.

He’s also been cheated twice & never said a word. As someone who’s followed the primary & is focused on election issues, this is unacceptable. Why is Gabbard the only one talking about elections?I frankly DFAF who she thanks, at least someone is talking about election integrity.

There are weaknesses in both that I see but I also see strengths and I also see we have to move past political candidates & expecting them to be our version of perfection. We need to look to us, the people, & what we can do outside of the electorate. Enough with relying on them.

My point is if you’re going to go after one, you have to be consistent but all I see are double standards. I despise the right’s racism but I also despise neoliberals who truly push crypto fascism & Biden is part of that. I don’t need to cancel Bernie for it but we don’t agree.

The same people going after Gabbard for her right-wing mentions (which I think was a bad idea) have always been WAITING to cancel her no matter what. Funny how these people (ahem TYT & neoliberal lites) are the ones pushing the Dem establishment. They’re no better than the right.

We shouldn’t be fighting over who failed us more. Instead we need to look beyond the actions of people forced to work within this system and build a new system, with people who will help make it possible to do so. It could be previous politicians or it could be new folks.

Too often left can be extremely unacceptable of people who disagree with them. It doesn’t make you more radical just authoritarian. A lot of you also DGAF about foreign policy or Assange. Stop thinking your version of domestic socialism is ok when you dismiss imperialism.
