Our neighbours were carted off in an ambulance 2 nights ago - to loud applause from whole street watching from balconies...

...then police tape was put across our building entrance

We feared we were now in full quarantine lockdown - but today tape moved over neighbours’ apartment door and we can get out..

...a big relief for us but hoping they’re ok

-Myanmar’s borders closed
-Yangon sealed off
-Orders to stay in townships (ours roughly 5x3 blocks)
-Our street barricaded

…have realised that’s my confinement limit without onset of insanity :)

Respect to Yangon’s health workers/volunteers - and sending all my best to those in full quarantine/even tighter lockdowns
