“noisy music” in kpop a thread; because some of y’all don’t know music and call everything u hear from a group you don’t like “noisy”

first of all, in no way im calling all of the songs here “not good” or “bad” i actually love all of them. music that is “noisy” is actually edm, and edm is one of the hardest song to make.

i made this thread bc i know almost all artist in the kpop industry have made edm/noisy songs before, and just bc the song sounds “noisy” or you don’t like it, doesn’t mean the song is straight up bad.

stray kids - side effects. of course we start off w the queen, i get that not everyone can listen to/like this song, but calling it bad when it’s one of the most unique songs (psytrance) in kpop is honestly so dumb

nct 127 - mad dog. this is one of my favorite song in the album, it sounds so different from other songs but thats what makes it good.

bts - fire. a bop honestly, the chorus is iconic, and it is also edm so

hyo - badster. same as side effects, this song is also psytrance. one of my favorite songs in kpop

kard - dumb litty. this song is ICONIC one of their best songs. kard is known for making edm songs, and all their songs are bops

blackpink - how you like that. if im not mistaken the song is trap with a bit of bass house. this song is such a bop and one of my favorite “noisy” songs

alexa - bomb. the first time i heard this song i know i should stan her, the song is so good and her unique voice made it better (i cant find the mv so here’s the stage performance)

everglow - dun dun. i’ve always loved this song, if im not mistaken the song is trap (?) one of their best songs and their new song is also good

ace - callin’. you can clearly hear the hardstyle in the chorus. this song is just so good but its so underrated too

treasure - boy. a bop no explanation.

these are just a few, feel free to drop more in the replies!! and btw, im not telling you/forcing you to listen or like the songs, i just want you to know the genre itself and respect other people’s taste in music.

and btw, you can dislike the songs here, it’s definitely okay and its normal, but if you’re here just bc u want to hate on these songs, leave right away.
