i wonder if chan has studied sociological theories...watching a lecture video rn and like this sociological theory is strain theory and it basically talks about environment and individual circumstances leading to crime but basically what i’m trying to say is that he went live and
talked about stray kids rebellion. so there are ways of adapting, which includes accepting the goals society has put out for you and the means to achieve this goal. rebellion is basically making new goals for yourself and having the new means to achieve your goal, not necessarily
conforming, retreating, being pessimistic, and innovating, which includes cheating as an example. okay i’m getting too off track here what i’m trying to say is that like stray kids’s entire point is to redefine goals and set out what THEY want to do and not necessarily listen to
what others have to say about what they’re doing. when he said that and when i was watching my lecture (which i still have a couple minutes left of as of writing this thread) i was like damn that kinda sounds like what district 9 is saying and i was like huh, what if chan studied
sociological theory? but i’m pretty sure that’s unlikely, but it’d be super cool to know that he did. okay anyway i gotta go watch the rest of my lecture toodles
