my mental health has been getting a lot worse in the last few weeks and i honestly just don’t know what to do. i want to go to therapy but i don’t know if i need to see someone like a psychologist who’d give me a diagnosis or just a therapist to talk to. i feel so lost
and i don’t want to have to tell my parents about it (i live w them and they take care of my insurance) because of the way they treat mental health

and i don’t know if i should try phone therapy or if i will feel safe in an office???

I want to try in person therapy but I don’t know how I feel about it in covid times and video/call therapy doesn’t seem private when I’m living with my family and no where to be alone
