Last year the Georgia GOP passed the extreme anti-choice “heartbeat” bill, which would have effectively banned abortion in Georgia. A federal judge struck it down as unconstitutional, but a Democratic majority would have stopped it from ever being signed into law. [3/9]

Georgia’s minimum wage has stayed at $5.15/hour for over 15 years -- it is so low that even the federal minimum wage overrides it. A Democratic State House can change that and help working people thrive. [4/9]

Georgia Republicans are robbing our children of a bright future. They passed a budget that slashed nearly $1 billion from education, as our schools are struggling more than ever. Democrats know our children are our future and would ensure Georgia schools are fully funded. [5/9]

The Georgia GOP has starved rural hospitals of the resources and funding they need. Their cuts to public health and refusal to expand Medicaid have led to a number of hospital closures in rural Georgia. Democrats would finally expand Medicaid and protect our public health. [6/9]
