This is probably the most important thread, at least to me, that I’ve ever written, and I hope everyone will read it

For the first time, I can truly say that I don’t see a future for myself in the industry that I once loved. I still love the game, but poker is no longer a (1/
game where you can play any game you want as long as you have the buyin. I’m not aware of anything negative that anyone (2/
Has to say about me, my table demeanor, my reputation, or anything else, and yet I (like many others, I assume) am simply no longer welcome in the games I like to play. It’s a sad development. all I’ve ever wanted to do all these years is grow the game I love and feed my (3/
Family while playing it, and I’ve tried to do everything the right way. I could’ve stolen tens of thousands of dollars from people who trusted me and gotten away with it, but I never did. I have always said that being able to sleep at night is the most important thing to me, (4/
And it still is. I don’t regret for a second not stealing from those people; I just wish it mattered.

Where do I go from here? I have no idea. If anyone has an idea for a 35 y/o man who’s smart and has a fairly wide breadth of knowledge with zero formal education, I’m all ears
