Mnuchin, on Fox Business, calls the proposal he took to Pelosi today "a very fair proposal."
Says he, POTUS and Meadows met in the Oval Office before the meeting and all signed of on what Mnuchin brought to the Hill

MNUCHIN: "We're not going to do a $2.2 trillion deal."
Says if "there's a fair compromise, we're willing to do it"

Mnuchin on the topline: "The president instructed us to come up significantly, so we have come up from the trillion dollar deal."

Mnuchin says he will likely touch base with Speaker Pelosi tonight on some outstanding issues, but no significant progress will be made til tomorrow.
