Subtweets of an AJC leader claiming the only people upset at their attack on @USJewishDems are "radical leftist bluechecks" or whatever:

Is it possible, perhaps, that you in the AJC are the sheltered ones? People who think they deserve to speak for Jews because you have funding?
Have you ever thought that your position as established leaders who are depending on your history and your massive fundraising machine don't automatically make you correct, or reflective of the general Jewish community?

Let's look at the numbers.
45% of American Jews think that Trump's emboldening extremists and white nationalists is the *most* concerning issue regarding antisemitism in America today.

Have you in any way reflected that concern? Have you addressed it in a way that they would feel is representative?
56% of American Jews think Trump is at least partially responsible on attacks on synagogues. That includes the Pittsburgh shooting, the worst shooting targeting American Jews in America's history.

Is your stance reflective of their concerns? Do you prioritize it as they do?
A large percentage of American Jews think the *best* way to protect Jews is to get Donald Trump out of office.

Yet you are quicker to condemn a BDS vote in a college than Trump's antisemitism. That's what you tweeted about the day his private statements about Jews were released.
You claim you are more representative of American Jews than the "radical left" that calls you out. You're not.

The "bluechecks" that keep barraging you, like myself, are simply Jews who are more engaged and aware of your failures. Most others are simply unaware of them.
But if they were aware, they'd be furious that so much of our community's resources are being spent on condemning a college government BDS vote and so little on the overt and dangerous antisemitism that actually puts American Jews in danger.

This is what we're telling you.
But you won't listen. Because you think that we are the fringe and you are the majority.

Your place as a "mainstream" institution does not immediately grant you this authority. The opposite: it is part of a growing separation in priorities between Jews and their institutions.
You have failed us, and we will keep calling you out, because unfortunately you are the organizations that the mainstream listens to, and the ones they call on to help translate these issues for every day Americans.

And in that position, your weakness has put Jews in danger.
