Takani Yoshiyuka brings Xabungle to life; the silly designs of Tomino's most comedy orientated show suddenly become lifelike and realistic, fantastical yet believable
The Walker Machines, Hovercraft, 'Humanoid' guards - Takani's art brings all of it to life. Kidd Horla is visible but I can't tell if the Overseer is meant to be Biel or Billam.
These definitely capture Xabungle the best, in essence
This illustration captures Xabungle's world, where machines closer to construction equipment are rigged with weapons and piloted by everyday people in a mecha wild-west full of bandits and working class mercenaries.
Machines in all sizes, many of which at their core, are absurd - but with Takani's brush, this snow-covered battlefield feels real.
It's amazing how great these mechanical designs can look in Takani's art style. Anyway, end of thread!
