A Future. A future he didn’t want. “If you leave me, it’ll be like I lost everything Sasuke”. What he must’ve felt when he heard those words of a breaking Sakura. Tears running down her cheeks and the desperation in her voice to save him from the darkness. +
“I love you a lot Sasuke”, “I love you with all my heart Sasuke”. How hard the decision must’ve been. To choose his past over the future. The lover he wanted Naruto to protect at all costs... he was leaving her. He must’ve known that things would never be the same. +
“Who would love me like Sakura? Would she love me if I left Konoha this moment and abandon her? Would she love me if I became someone she wouldn’t recognize? Would she love me if I’m in hell? Would she love me even if I hurt her? Why does she love me?” +
Sakura’s heart must’ve been all over the place. The pain she must’ve been during that scene. Screaming in her head “Will there ever be someone who I will love as much as I love Sasuke? Why am I so hurt? Why is this happening? Why do we both have to suffer?” +

Who will love him no matter what. Who will stand with him no matter what. Who would go to any lengths just for him.
