Resume as a early career professional:

- make sure it’s comprehensive (include where you volunteered and workshops you’ve participated in)

- list notable achievements at each job if you have them and metrics

- include your summary of qualifications (skills + experience)

LinkedIn as a early career professional:

- include a professional headshot

- look up the LinkedIn’s of professionals in your field of interest and look how theirs are structured — copy the format

- include a sentence or two for each of your jobs listed that explain your role

Networking tree for early career professionals:

write down your ideal 1) geographic location(s), 2) companies in that location and 3) field of interest(s) in those companies..

when you have that, write down the HR professional(s) and hiring manager(s) for that field of interest

you can do all of this during a pandemic..

I rather not get a job because some one is a better fit/more qualified vs. not crossing all of my T’s and dotting my I’s
