The last guy my roommate was seeing, 30 years old btw, she said he literally didn't wash anywhere below his chest in the shower, he would simply let the shampoo from his hair drip down his body and called it good enough. And gave women multiple UTIs as a result 
When I was 16 and with my 23 year old ex (already ew), I got a really bad UTI for the first time, lied to my mom so I could see the doctor, then tried to talk to him about his hygiene (didn't wash his hands or cut nails either) and he got mad at me for it 
I asked him about getting STD tests together as well and he was like "wtf, are you saying I'm dirty? Do you really think I have an STD, wow I can't believe you"
