I can't help but laugh at all the nutty conspiracy theories certain people within #ChicagoTwitter and #ChicagoScanner have about me đŸ˜đŸ˜†đŸ€ŁđŸ˜‚

Let's talk facts, shall we?

1: Twitter has a policy against multiple accounts

2. Twitter has very specific rules re: bot accounts
3. As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 2,695,598 people and 1,194,337 households residing within the city limits of Chicago.
4. More than half the population of the state of Illinois lives in the Chicago metropolitan area.
Given those stats, plus the fact that Twitter users come from all over the world, along with the fact that Chicago residents havs ties to literally every corner of the globe, AND given that Chicago is an INTERNATIONAL HUB for travel/business....
If you truly believe I am behind EVERY SINGLE Chicago-based Twitter account or ChicagoScanner related account, you have serious issues involving reality testing and paranoia.

I am NOT the only person in this city paying attention full-time to public safety issues
I am also certainly not the only person or even the only journalist with a focus on Chicago's place within the scope of federal law enforcement, international relations, the intelligence community, or diplomatic intelligence.
These are big, complex topics that the entire globe is paying attention to. So to intentionally tweet/DM however many of your followers (whoever you are) with false information about me is truly concerning.

If you're a CPD officer and you do this, you violate dept policies.
If my name and my face isn't on a Twitter account, it isn't me nor is it in any way associated with me.

I don't hide anything I do, nor do I hide any of my professional endeavors under any pseudonyms.

I actually have something called integrity
I am also not the only trans/bisexual/polyam public safety & criminal intelligence journalist in Chicago

If you block or mute me because of WHO I AM as a person, or for political reasons, YOU are the problem.

Blocking/muting was intended only for abuse/harassment situations
With all of that said, this thread is done.

Have a great day, Chicago!
