I cannot believe the amount of violence that took place in her house as a baby. It's insane how no one had any regard for each other & definitely not for Mariah. Morgan is the worst clearly he has issues that have never been resolved #TheMeaningOfMariahCarey

I hope we get to hear more about her Nana Reece, she sounds like a warm and beautiful person, who protected Mariah when she was around

So Alison and Morgan had the nerve to hate each other but hate Mariah even more?? Whew the way I can't stand these two . I actually understand their own personal trauma but what I won't accept is their inflicting pain on Mariah & everyone else #TheMeaningOfMariahCarey

There's so many tragic moments and I'm only a few chapters through. Even with that, Mariah still manages to add humor, I love that about her her referring to her 'decent bangs' as a 'special Christmas miracle' is sending me

Mariah describing her dad's special meal he prepared in perfect detaail literally makes me wanna read fictional books written by Mariah! The intricate details, the inflections, the energy! She IS A WRITER. Plus her grandma ruining the meal w/parmesean is hilarious

Idk if the book is gonna get into this but I'm SO curious about Mariahs relationship w/her father AFTER fame. She gave us the foundation of it growing up & his strictness/perfectionist ways even after fame BUT why did they seemingly continue to grow apart untill yrs later? #TMOMC

I can only assume it was as she said, about them having fundamental differences in what he thought was an acceptable career & wanting her to have a stable job after growing up in chaos? Maybe she felt like he didnt believe in her or care about her dreams? It's all just sad #TMOMC
