Want to re-frame a prior tweet and instead encourage everyone to please hold space and be cognizant that much of America is triggered, in despair, and hurting right now. Asking for folks to please be cognizant that folks may not respond kindly or at all to communication. They
May need time off of social media. They may call in sick.

I’m sure I am missing a few groups, but our BIPOC -specifically Black- colleagues, folks who suffer with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns, and people who are victims of abuse or violence are likely going
to struggle for a bit.

I, for one, have not been sleeping well. But the point is that many folks are struggling these days.

So instead of encouraging y’all to reach out to folks... a behavior that may be seen as performative and also re-triggering for some, I would like for
us to hold space. Leave a light on. Hold the door open for colleagues, friends, and family. The way that folks respond may enlighten you, surprise you, or hurt you. That’s ok.

Give folks who are fighting their internal battles some space. Some compassion. Some empathy. Allow
for some breathing room and some grace. Please 🙏

I had some stuff going on before that circus last night. I may not be around much for the next little bit... but my DMs are open.

Sending y’all my good energy.
