Rewatched S08 E03 of GoT and I found myself in another conspiracy loop...I was never expecting a happy ending but damn bro, how do you manage to fuck up an already compelling story and butcher character arcs like that!? And the plot holes?! Just thinking about this show annoys me

After 6-8 years of fan theories, character development (Bran's time and space powers) and unexpected reveals (Jon's parents), we were subjected to "cool" visuals and gory battle scenes because that's what the fans really like the most about the show

A short summary of "character development" that occurred: Jon was reduced to saying two lines in the final season, "I don't want it" and "She's my queen"... it's not like this guy was brought back to life or his parents were revealed for a reason...

Daenerys (BREAKER of chains, who always protected the INNOCENT) was reduced to a moustache twirling generic mass murderer in TWO episodes...what!?

One of the smartest people in the whole series was coming up and agreeing with some of the most ridiculous strategies like wanting to have peace with Cersei and saying that it's impossible to negotiate with her in prior seasons... it's like the writers don't even watch the show..

One of the most cunning villain I've seen on screen with sometimes understandable motives ended just staring out the window and demanding...elephants?! Also she got crushed by rubble...WWWHHHAAAATT!?!?
