It seems that Nintendo physically kept all of these archives on disk, and dumped them specifically for the purposes of Virtual Console.

Although yes, there is a conversion tool to and from the pirate .FDS format, maybe for verification or retrieval of metadata?

It seems like most of these disk images DON'T match no-intro's database. Not sure if that means there's some real differences, or Nintendo or No-Intro or the other has some bad dumps, or if there's some problem with my own work here...
However, just looking at the game code and forgetting about trying to get the full checksum to match - there's just a dozen unknown games. These are the ones most interesting to look into.
