Next week there's an election in Guernsey. They're electing thirty-eight deputies to their parliament the States of Guernsey. And, it's going to be a mad one...
For the first time, they're doing it as one electoral district and electors will vote on an Island-wide basis. That means everyone gets to elect thirty-eight deputies with thirty-eight individual votes. And they're using FPTP to do it.

"I'm asking you to use one of your 38 votes to back me" is quite the ask in any election, not least one where every voter has 119 candidates to wade through - 78 with no party affiliation (not including the 21 candidates from the Partnership of Independents group).
The ballot paper is so large that the official electoral guidance is that people should request a postal so they can fill out the ballot paper more easily at home.
Good luck to the folks of Guernsey figuring out their votes for that one. Thankfully they have made a pretty excellent website to help the process: https://election2020.gg/candidates/browse/
