If you and your house are looking for fun stuff to do, the Welcome to NUSU programme has a bunch of stuff that you can get involved with such as tables at Beach Box or comedy nights. For all the links to know what’s going on and to book a table: https://www.nusu.co.uk/yourunion/welcome/events/
Registering with a GP should be one of your main to dos. Due to the current climate, GPs are asking people not to come to surgeries and so if you do need to register with one, this is great way to do so: https://www.ncl.ac.uk/wellbeing/gpregistration/
If you are wanting to use the library then it is available for pre booked slots. You can book up to 3 hours in either the Phillip Robinson, the Marjorie Robinson or the Walton: https://newcastle-uk.libcal.com/r/new 
If during the year you start experiencing Covid-19 symptoms you can report that to the university so that they can give you additional support: https://www.ncl.ac.uk/wellbeing/coronavirus-studentsupport/

If you feel like you need a listening ear you can reach out to Nightline who are a listening and information service run by students for students. https://www.nusu.co.uk/support/nightline/
