2 years ago I wrote an application to be @FICMNews trainee rep. First time round I deleted it & it was only with the support of friends that I applied.

Im so glad I did.

Training isn& #39;t perfect. Its been an incredibly difficult year. But here are 3 reasons why you SHOULD apply

1. It will not take over your life. This is important.
You will work in a fab team. You can get professional leave + you never need to worry about QI for your portfolio ever again

2. Want to make training better. This is your chance. They listen. You can make positive change

3. ICM is developing and growing. Rapidly. This is a unique opportunity to sit as a board member, have a voice and be part of this development at the highest level. You can use this platform however you wish and you will learn so much.

Applications have been lower this year. I understand this. Its been tough. For me to have the ability to try and do something about the stressors has helped.
