This is not going to be popular but hell, Imma say it.

Here is a confused & disappointed young man who knows that the burden (mostly financial) of raising the child falls on his parents/household income earner.

Ben voiced out what MOST HIDE. https://twitter.com/benromotokula/status/1308981078670143488
That is & will always be the truth!

Do we, young, unemployed, still schooling mothers need the support? Yes, yes we absolutely do. Most have pointed it out in response to Ben's thread so I'm not going to repeat the reasons.

Howevvvvvverrrrrr.....
Silent neglected victims exist.

In obtaining support frm our parents, we deprive others in our household.

The baby bro who cnt get new rugby boots cz money is needed for milk & diapers.

The sister who misses out on hangouts with friends to babysit or help.
Parents suddenly becoming grandparents playing dual roles & at times unconsciously neglecting the fruit of their own loins

Siblings now hurt at the realisation that their needs/wants are secondary for the new comer
The expectation that eveyone must sacrifice & support because the young mother & baby's needs is greater & paramount in the family.

We change & adapt, not only out of love but quite frankly, without a choice.
Which of us young mums/dads out here wish history repeating with our own kids?

Which sibling out here will follow in those footsteps?

So.. No. We don't get to chastise Ben & get away with it.

Ask for his support coz we all know his sister & child needs it.

Do better
