A group of online political extremists have decided no one who supported Buhari in 2015 deserves to live, except, of course, their beloved Atiku, Saraki, Kwankwaso and the other big men (all of whom gave Buhari billions)

I saw people attack Isha Sesay earlier this morning. Her sin? She covered the Chibok girls' kidnap story. For that reason, she's been added to the list of enemies never to be forgiven, even though another election has since come and gone, even though Buhari and GEJ remain friends

That hate for those who supported Buhari explains why national giants like Wole Soyinka are regularly insulted on Twitter, even though his endorsement of Buhari in 2015 was measured & considered only after the glaring failures in leadership of that time. Still, they abuse Soyinka

It doesn't matter if their targets have been at the forefront of holding same Buhari to account since that 2015 (while they, the triumphalists, remained silent). Having expressed a democratic choice is a cardinal sin that deserves death or a lifetime of torture and harassment.

These ones aren't about country, because those who are about country continuously build alliances. "Oh, you didn't see what I saw then. Now that you've seen it, let's work together." These ones, I think, are only about their secret satsifaction of having been right just once.

I've said many times that Buhari's failures will not automatically erase his predecessor's own failures. It's very possible to have 2 presidents, or even 3, doing badly. Current incompetence doesn't exempt previous one.

We've seen back to back failure of leadership in Abia.
