Why does online class seemed to drain the shit out of me. A thread
So, currently we are supposed to be having our third exam for the first term tomorrow and given the fact that classes were affected by the "maintenance shutdown" of PLDT for the past 5 days, we are way way behind of schedule.
Yes, we weren't given any activities but the second exam that we were supposed to be taking last September 25th was rescheduled for tomorrow. Yes, I'm an ungrateful piece of shit for that 5 days off because I really haven't done anything or even tried to open the LMS.
But why does online class really drains me is the fact that I am a social being and having interaction to learn is my thing. I need to exchange ideas, I need that buzzing noise of ideas being thrown in and out of the classroom. For me, that is learning right there.
And yes, learning shouldn't just happen inside the four corners of a classroom but isn't online class happen also in a four cornered room? Being at home, having "all the resources you need" isn't equally the same to the learnings and knowledge you could aquire in a typical class.
I could go on and on with reasons why this online class bullshits isn't entirely learning at its finest simply because in 16 years of being a student, It was all mainly done in a four cornered classroom.
And it is kind of funny to think that we all once dreamed to be a celebrity, and given that some celebrities are being homeschooled or taking their classes online well then look where we are now. But don't get me wrong, I am just stating some facts.
To end, I really don't know how to cope up. I think none of us will unless we all go back in the way we all used to. But then this thread was only supposed to give the main reason why online class isn't suited for me. Y'all stay safe and keep reaching for your goals! God bless 🙏🏽
