man food elitism is the dumbest thing like. sometimes you don’t want an expertly balanced well plated dining experience sometimes you just wanna stuff a trough of nachos down your gullet, if im hungry and it tastes okay it’s all the same shit

even then there’s merit just in the concept of creating a combination of things that taste good even if that thing is like a mass produced pizza or something, it’s so dumb and arbitrary to rag on someone’s preferences

i feel the same way about both food and music, even if it’s commercial and made for the masses or whatever who really cares as long as the product is sufficiently enjoyable and not causing like actual ideological harm to anybody. let people enjoy their burgers and their pop music
