You know what I miss?

Giving someone a firm handshake when you meet them for the first time.
For clarification.

Due to covid, I've seen a lot more of my neighbors out during the day when I'm with Owen, and I've actually met some super awesome people.

When I go to introduce myself to someone, the first thing I do is make eye contact and extend my hand in their direction
To present them an opportunity for a firm handshake to solidify a good first time meeting.

For the last 6 months, I haven't been able to do that, and it sucks.

Handshakes tell a lot about character.

I don't care if we don't have a perfect handshake.

If you reach out to grab
My hand and it's a firm handshake, and we make eye contact, you're a good person in my book.

If you look at my hand and ignore it, i probably won't go out of my way to ever speak to you again.

Wimpy handshakes suck too, but it's better than the previous. At least you tried.
