The present situation . Frank Lampard my hero managing Chelsea , I can’t think of anything better. Seeing players from the academy in the first team who love the club, I can’t think of anything better. Seeing top talent from Europe in our team, I can’t think of anything better.
In a dream world , last season ended a brilliant season with Frank winning his first bit of silverware . It didn’t happen , that’s life , that’s football , we can’t script it, it’s not a romantic movie , it’s a ruthless results based industry . Things don’t always go to plan.
If this were a romantic movie then we’ve had some highs . The comeback v Ajax , winning twice v spurs , winning at the Emirates etc . We’ve had some brilliant memories to stay with us .
We’ve also no doubt had a difficult period where things hit a rough patch, the losses to Bournemouth , West Ham etc as well as the FA Cup final . But we wouldn’t give up and walk away, we fought , coz we believe in this .
This season was filled with excitement with new signings and a statement of intent . It’s been a slow start and there’s a lot of anger and frustration in the fan base after a slow start and going out of the league cup to spurs . I completely understand it.
But our duty as fans is to support the manager and every single player who puts on that Chelsea shirt . You don’t have to be their biggest fan , criticise when appropriate yes and raise concerns of course. BUT don’t abuse them . Support them coz they represent and fight for us.
In my opinion we’re on a journey , one that we don’t know how long it will take or how long it will last . This is Chelsea FC not (insert player name) FC. Enjoy the journey coz life’s too short to spend arguing or trying to force agendas.
Do I have concerns with us? Of course I do . Am I worried with recent performances? Yes , because I’m desperate for Frank and Chelsea to be successful . But I can’t control what happens .
Frank may be a success here or he may not. In a dream world he is , but we can’t script it, we’ve just got to let it play out. Don’t be afraid of what we can’t control . Don’t fear “failure”.
Whatever happens , Frank is a legend at this club, always will be and always will be loved. Let’s support him till the end.
We don’t know the future for Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Fikayo Tomori , Billy Gilmour but let’s support them till the end.
We don’t know the future for Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell , Cesar Azpilicueta and the rest of the boys but let’s support them till the end.
We all love and support Chelsea FC so let’s support them till the end end of thread
