HOW TO CONTINUE LIVING AFTER YOU DIE

Albert Einstein died on 1955, it’s been 65 years and his ideas, discoveries and inventions are still taught at school

Thomas Edison died 89 years ago on 1931 yet we’ve all learned in school about him

[ACCIDENTAL THREAD]
So how do you do this in these times?

What if you’re not geniuses that pushed human evolution further like they have?

I learned this from Dave Chapelle:

You give them shared memories.

What does this mean?

I first understood this from this Mark Twain Award doc on Netflix
Where comedians and very well accomplished people from all walks of life came up on stage and shared wild stories and experiences that they shared with Dave. And talked about what kind of man he is and his utter madness and genius.

These memories are engraved in their head
And they’ll never forget them (unless something happens to them)

This is what I mean by GIVING shared memories. You’d make such an impact on their lives that even if someone never talks to you again 30 years later they’ll still talk about you.
Do this at large and have a significant impact? And you’ll have immortalized yourself and your legacy will carry on long after you’ve passed. Through people telling stories about you, you leave an imprint in their brains as long as they will remember.
Now obviously not everyone wants to leave a massive legacy for generations to come. Even then you can still take something away.

Invest your time in people.

Through your work, your social life, relationships, friendships, etc.

Leave a massive impact on their lives
(In a good way of course)

Because if someone scams you of a large sum of money for example, they also left an impact on you, but a terrible one.

So make sure it’s a good one.

Become a person that people tell stories to their friends about.
Remember when you were a kid and your friend used to tell you stories about their crazy uncle

(in my case, my friends uncle got in a high speed police chase and somehow escaped in his Nissan Skyline)

Why do you NEED to do this?
Because when people start telling amazing stories about the things you’ve done

That’s how you know you’re living a life worth living. A life that’s meaningful.

No one talks about their wagey uncle who works a 9-5 who drives a minivan. Nothing interesting about his life.
I know this was a bit of a stretch but in my defense I’m writing this at 4.14 am. Now I couldn’t care less about gaining followers to become a twitter guru, but if you even got anything out of this thread, spread the word and share it. But only if you got something out of it
And as Drake says

if you ain’t got haters, you ain’t popping
