I love all of the snide responses from people about how we're "grasping at straws" and that Nintendo marketing DK, a character who hasn't had a new game in six years, "doesn't mean anything." If it was *just* this, then sure; I can see why we'd be labeled as tinfoil hat-wearers.

But it's the bigger picture we're looking at here. They've been slowly building up to something for awhile, and hopefully we'll soon see what that "something" is. COVID-19 has made Nintendo's announcement schedule unpredictable, but 2021 should be a big year for Donkey Kong.
