My Diani experience started way back in 2015 when I jumped off a plane. Tandem sky diving.
This doesn't happen anymore in Diani but plans are underway to open up another sky diving centre in #NowTravelReady

How to get to Diani.
Jambojet offers 2 daily direct flights from JKIA to Ukunda airstrip from Ksh 4900.
Book your flight in advance.The earlier you book the cheaper the flight.

Typically, midweek flights tend to be cheaper than weekend ones.

There's many things to do.

1. Start by checking out the beaches. Diani is home to some of the best beaches in the world.
Check out bidi badu, Amigos & Kongo river Beach.

2. If you decide to visit Kongo River Beach, please stay and catch the sunset. I promise you once you catch the sunsets, you'll find yourself going back over and over again.

3. Interested in a game Drive?
Visit Shimba hills National reserve. It's about 1 hour's drive from Diani.

4. After the game Drive, take a mini hike to shedrick's falls. Still within the reserve. Change into your swim suit and have a little fun with the waterfalls #NowTravelReady

5. Go Scuba diving. Btw, this is not the same as snorkeling.
I decided to go Scuba diving and let me tell you Maina, breathing under water is magical but it's the marine life that steal the show.
In my opinion, scuba diving is easier than snorkeling.

7. While you build your courage to scuba dive. You can always gather your friends and off road quad biking for at least 2 hours.

8. After quad biking, go jet skiing

I wish we could get footage of them jumping out of the ocean.

9. My friends took me to this place called the map of Africa in Tiwi. check this place out when the tides are low. I'm walking like that cus of the sea urchins. Trust me, don't want to step on those things

10. Gather your people and visit the star fish island, also in Tiwi. Please, admire them but for heaven's sake, don't bother them.

11. Where to Eat
Tiki Bar & Estuary beach resort stood out for me.
I can eat Tiki's calamari everyday for the rest of my life and I can swear the Estuary's pizza is imported from Italy.
Sea food lovers can try platters at Colobus Shade
Ali Barbours cave is nice for fancy dates

12. Where to stay
I spent a total of 9 days in Diani so I split my accommodation into two.
I first stayed at Diani reef Beach resort.

When I tell you Diani Reef's chef is a man after my own heart?
On most days, I barely clear my plate but this wasn't the case.

The second half of my stay was at Diani Sea lodge. My room was a few steps from the ocean. I didn't need to set an alarm to wake me up cus the ocean waves would wake me up in time to catch the sunrise

13. Other things i did was take kite surfing lessons and go Kayaking. Which is complementary if you decide to stay with Diani Sea lodge
I was there for 9 days and i barely scratched the surface. There's so much to do in Diani which is #NowTravelReady

The night life was pretty much alive before rona. I remember going to Clubs like Manyatta & Shark attack.
