I wrote my last tweet about parents not being able to explain what we do off the cuff. Glad to see it resonated with a lot of people. Fact is if you are consistent and persistent and focused on your dreams chances are that you will work to bring them to life.

my parents couldn’t explain what I did. My mum’s opinion was that I didn’t go get 4 degrees to be as poor as I was. She said this when I called to borrow 5k for the upteenth time in 2012. My dad once remarked “the only thing you know how to do is your computer & your girlfriend”

I was tasked with dissecting in the innuendo in my head whilst thinking about my life. However, now my mum proudly remarks “all these things you see CBN talking about now my son was doing it in 2009”. And my dad once told a friend....

“If he asks me for the roof I’m sleeping under I’ll give it to him because he doesn’t know how to fail”. The feeling beats the most succinct definition of my profession. Which if I must admit I don’t even know how to define myself
