FUNNY HOW IT WORKS that the 5 times i contacted @NekoAnthem about my missing order, they didn& #39;t have time to respond to me, but just hours after i made threats about chargebacks/the BBB/contacting their ecommerce platform, i got my refund. so you DID see my emails!
surprise, fuckers, i& #39;m even madder now! @NekoAnthem it& #39;s REPREHENSIBLE that you repeatedly fail to deliver on orders and then, i assume, hope that nobody makes a stink or knows how to get their money back. you& #39;re lowlife fucking scum and you& #39;re taking advantage of people.
for context, i pre-ordered a figurine from @NekoAnthem in June. it was supposed to release on August 30th. by September 19th i was starting to wonder if there was a delay, so i asked for an update about my order. they completely ignored me.
over the last ten days i contacted @NekoAnthem six times: 3 emails, one attempt through the webform on their site ( https://nekoanthem.com"> https://nekoanthem.com ) and once through FB messenger. but they already had my money so they didn& #39;t give a fuck, i guess.
normally i wouldn& #39;t go ham about something like this so soon, but i started reading reviews and comments about them online, and it turns out THIS IS EVERYONE& #39;S EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. and some people don& #39;t know how to extract a refund from a disreputable business.
do i feel stupid for not reading reviews first this time? yes.
but the moral burden of NOT BEING SCAMMERS still fell on @NekoAnthem. at least i assume they& #39;re scammers. either that or they& #39;re so incompetent it& #39;s indistinguishable from a scam

whoops i gave conflicting counts of my attempts to contact @NekoAnthem. i made 5 good-faith attempts before i got mad; the ultimatium i sent them was the 6th message.
i really try to be kind and patient and forgiving. but if you fuck with me. i will do everything in my power to Make An Example Of You. i fought a cell phone company and won, DO NOT TEST ME.
man, you know what else is interesting? the only place @NekoAnthem has consistently good reviews is their Amazon store, and this had me confused, but then i realized if they treated amz customers like the rest of us they& #39;d literally get banned from selling there. lmfao
gee, i wonder if any of the art @NekoAnthem uses on their social media actually belongs to them. that& #39;s an interesting thread i could start pulling on.
