. @OpenStack community went through convolutions while I was on the TC: we created the "Big Tent"
that debate centered on solving a community problem: TC was backed into in a position of asserting architectural competition between projects. We needed to stop that.

single vendor backed open source projects are all well and good. there are some great ones out there! but those projects are also fragile because of it

maybe i'm getting old... or maybe i'm just salty from the week ... but I miss the days when I thought #OpenSource was more than just "here, hold my code"
